I kid you not. It was windy today. And pretty cold for March. Folks in my neck of the woods woke up to a winter wonderland of about 8" of snow. Between the wind and the temperature warming up, the snow didn't last long. I broke out the camera for a little bird photography. Hold onto your perch!

What else could I blog about today? We received more than a foot of snow in north Texas. Now, I realize that twelve inches of snow may not be all that uncommon for some of you. But in my neck of the woods, believe me, that's a big fat hairy deal! It's a north Texas record for a 24 hour period. And I even stayed home from work today!
