A Little Birdie Told Me

A little birdie told me there are pictures from Warrenton on the way. It might have been this Black-Capped Chickadee...

Not sure if you can tell, but he has a goodie (sunflower?) from LucyJane's feeder between his feet. I took this picture on our brief snow day, March 21st. Wow, that seems so long ago! A lot has happened since then!

I'm back from Warrenton for the time being. All I can say is "WHEW!" It's been a whirlwind, but in a GOOD way! Mindy is still there working her magic. I'll be catching up on work for a few days and then heading back to Warrenton to join her again this weekend. But before I go back, I hope to have at least a few pictures ready to show you. So I'll be working by day and processing pictures by night.

Oh... and you're gonna like'em!

WOW! Wonderful shot, I love the depth of field (I think that's what it's called, I'm such a newbie!) :-)

Can't wait to see all of your pics...I can't believe I didn't get any of me and Mindy! I may need to borrow some of yours to show on my blog, if it's okay? Great getting to see you, too. Tommy sure appreciated the camera tips!

Now don't tell me this was just luck also! Wonderful photograph.
I do not want to have a favorite bird - that said, I must confess that if I had to pick one, the chickadee would be it.
When I was a little girl I called them snow birds. They looked like they were dressed in white coats and wearing black fur hats (remember I said I was a little girl then).
