Then she slipped me the tongue!

While working outside today, I noticed a Red-Striped Ribbon Snake. Drop everything, it's time for a photo shoot! Timing the shot to capture the tongue at full extension is harder than you might think!

Awesome photo. We had a copperhead snake in our living room one day. All I could do is grab the hedge clippers that were near me to get him out. No reptiles were hurt during this time.

Okay , you have taken another how-you-did-it-I-don't-know shot? Maybe you could have a post on photographing wildlife. Amazzzing!

Wonderful shot. I can imagine the timing was not easy on this. How many shots did this take??

I must say that this is an incredible shot, amazing that you managed to capture this. I can't look at it for too long though, it's a thing with me and snakes... I'm not sure what it is but it just is.

I agree that you should submit this photo to National Geographic or something like that, it's that good!

I know how you did it. You said stick out your tongue-not smile!

I'm not sure if I'd be more disturbed by "her" slipping you the tongue, or "him" slipping you the tongue! *ha!* Great shot, love! ~Mindy
